Experts from Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Liberia, Mali, the Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo attended the Expert Group Meeting on Small Hydropower Development in West Africa, held in Abuja (Nigeria) from 6 to 8 August 2007. The Expert Group Meeting was a forum to assess the potential for such power sources in those countries and to devise development strategies. more
